Linking up (Linky Party) with Farley's September Currently!
Even though I followed the directions, I just can't seem to get the size of my Currently picture to show up correctly. I just hope you can read it!
Listening: Empire has to one of the best network shows to hit television. I'm so excited that it's coming back...and TWO DAYS BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY! So, I'm currently watching reruns and currently excited about the new season.
Loving: I'm loving the new blogs that I am following. Since I am basically new to the teacher blogging world, I'm happy to connect with so many teachers who are quite experienced with blogging and those who are new to it like myself. Learning a lot!
Thinking: There is so much I need to get done in my class! It seems like there is so much this year and usually I'm on top of everything that needs to get done before school even begins. I need to work on my Data Binder, finish anchor charts (even though I usually complete them with my students, but sometimes that takes up a lot of class time), bulletin board for September and ELA centers. More than likely there's more I need to get done, just can't think of it.
Wanting: So, apparently I have a cold. My head feels so congested, I'm sneezing every other minute, I feel warm and my back aches (ugh)! I just want to get over this cold before I go back to work tomorrow.
Needing: Although I'm excited to be back in school, I'm craving another vacation (lol)! Probably take a small trip for my birthday...we shall see. I also need some cold/cough medicine (a quick run to the store should solve that issue).
Three goals: My three goals this year is to remain consistent. I'm still learning some of my teaching styles and some I have pretty much solidified in my classroom. As much as I love my little ones, currently teaching them procedures is making me impatient; but I remind myself that they are in third grade and it's a matter of consistency and patience that is key. Remaining organized is another goal of mines. I love to do so much, that I will start one task in the middle of completing another task! Plus my school and district are implementing a lot of new things this year, which means I need to keep things in order. So right now, I am trying to keep my organization in tack so that it will continue into the school year.

I'm right there with you on needing to get my bulletin boards done! The start of the school year is always overwhelming, but this too shall pass and it will be Thanksgiving break before we know it! Wishing you a great year!

Thanks and same to ya!
DeleteYou're right...Thanksgiving is right around the corner!
Welcome to the world of blogging! It is so much fun, but I must say, with teaching, I find it difficult to keep up with. Therefore, I added that as one of my goals this year. I wish you the best in the blogging world. I am so jealous that you have not started yet. I already have one week under my belt and wish I were like most teachers in the area and just going back this week. However, I now have all the introductions and expectations done that I can focus on the meaningful teaching now!
