Currently January- HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Here's to the beginning of 2016! I'm starting off with Oh' Boy 4th Grade's Currently!

First, let me just say I do love the design of this month's currently! Now here we go...

Listening: Currently listening to Stanford and Iowa go against each other, with the help of the commentators of course. This game is crazy! CURRENTLY 38 to 9! Geesh! I don't know what's been going on with these teams the past two days, but these blowouts are ridiculous!

Loving: My family is big football fanatics (that sounds weird). I wasn't growing up, but my freshman year of high school I became a big Patriots fan! I don't care what anyone says about them; they are an amazing team! But since break, I have been watching football for the past two weeks! So, of course I'm going to sit and watch the bowls! Happy that Clemson won yesterday against Oklahoma. On to the national championship in Phoenix!

Thinking: Why the heck is there only two weeks of winter break? LOL...then again if it was 3 weeks or even a month, I would want the break to be even longer..

Wanting: So during my winter break vacation I have been eating like a fat kid who only eats cake. Sadness, right?

Needing: I have to figure out a workout plan because after eating so heavy I am due for some gym time. It's been a minute but I did get some work out in this weekend. Need to work on a 3-4 day workout schedule.

One Little Word: Blessed! I am blessed to see another year and entering into it with family!

So, what are you currently up to? Join in on the fun!

  1. Hi Mahogany! I totally dig the design of this month's Currently, too. And I hear ya about the need to eat healthier and work out (case in point - I ate ramen and Skittles today - but it IS New Year's Day...). Best of luck this new year!

  2. Happy 2016! Laughing about your description of your winter break eating, but only because I can totally relate. I'm hoping that tomorrow I'll wake up wearing my work out gear and magically feel motivated to jump right into a new workout routine.

  3. I really really wish there was at least one more week of winter break too. Week 1 is Christmas, Week 2 is New Years, we totally need a week three to just relax! Hope you have lots of blessings in 2016!

    1. You are so right! Each week is dedicated to something and everyone is always busy during those weeks; so an extra week for relaxation is a great idea! Happy 2016 and many blessings for the new year in return!

  4. I enjoyed your Currently! I too need a work out plan. I have been watching every infomercial regarding weight loss and workout equipment and I still have nothing that interests me! I too love football. I also wish my break was longer but oh well, I guess we can look at like this, we are halfway until summer!

happy 2016 and good luck with your workout plan!!!

    1. I guess you are right...we are about half way through the school year. If I could get this workout plan together, that would be great!
