This is my first time linking up with the Teaching Trio for their Sunday Scoop linky party. I enjoy linky parties because for one they allow me to post on my blog when it's been a while. Second, they're just fun to do! So here's the scoop...
3 Have's: 1- Thankfully my ELA centers are created, I just need to make the posters for some of them so students understand what they must and can do (this eliminates them from interrupting me when I'm working with guided reading). I just need to form ALL my math centers now (well mainly one).
2- My undergraduate advisor asked if I could make a class video of some of the creative works we do in class for the Theatre in Youth program of my alma mater's Theatre department. I'm totally honored to do it. My students just finished learning about theme, so their skits will revolve around that concept.
3- Our first nine weeks are coming to a close (due to the flood we had a few weeks ago, our district added on more days for the marking period), so I need to enter the remainder of my grades.
2 Hope's: 1- Hopefully I can find a costume or nice outfit for my co-workers birthday party. Although, I have known about this for about a month now, I should've had some idea of what I want to wear.
2- I would also like to blog this week about the class video that my students are going to complete (see Have #2). Hopefully it goes well!
1 Happy: I am writing the skits for the Winter Performance this year! YAY! I'm a bit excited and nervous at the same time. Thankfully I know what I'm writing and I'm writing for kids which is pretty easy and fun at the same time!
So, that's my Sunday Scoop! Link up with the Teaching Trio to join in on the fun!
I am always given the task of writing skits. At least it's fun, right?! Happy Sunday!

Yeah, I enjoy it! This is my first time writing for our school's Winter Performance, so I'm a bit nervous of course.
DeleteYou have a busy Sunday! Glad you linked up, always like reading other third grade blogs!
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely correct! It is pretty busy, but some of it I'll do this week (such as find a costume). I enjoy reading other third grade blogs as well! It's good to connect with others who have some commonalities!
DeleteI'm working on math centers today too. Happy writing! I'm sure your skits will be great.
