Sunday Scoop 11-29-15

Linking up with the Teaching Trio for this fun weekly linky!

3 Have's: 1- So first thing that I have to do is grade some of these Native American projects. If I don't, then I will definitely be behind and I would like to give my students their scores before I leave for my trip this week. The students created dioramas and posters featuring one of the major Native American tribes in our state. In addition to the dioramas and posters, students had to write an essay about their Native American tribe and present all the information to the class.
2-  I NEED to do my hair! It usually takes about two hours to crochet the extensions in and it would be best if I start now so that I won't be up late tonight.
3- I have to create sub plans for two days this week. Unfortunately, my aunt/god-mother passed away Friday and the funeral is next weekend; so I'll be taking off some days. It's been a bit somber around here but I'm happy to know that my uncle and cousin are okay for the most part.

2 Hope's: 1- I love Blood and Oil! I don't know why it's not receiving good reviews, but I'm hoping to have time to watch it as well as RHOA tonight. But then again, my PATRIOTS are playing tonight against the Broncos. Hmmm...
2- I need to also look over plans this week. I feel like I'm becoming so disorganized with my small groups; that's the main thing I need to look over today! In addition to this, I hope to get back into the gym this week! I went back yesterday for the first time in four months and my legs and arms are sore! LOL..time to get back at it!

1 Happy: 1- I really enjoy learning how to brand my store. Although I don't have much in it at the moment and what's online is free, I'm still working on getting it altogether for the new year. The products in my store are only about half of what I've created. So hoping for great things in 2016.

So, that's my Sunday Scoop! Until next time, HAPPY TEACHING!

    1. Thank you and I appreciate it.

The projects are fun to assign to the students because you get to see what students create and learn outside of class. In the past I had students create (with help from their parents of course) some of the most elaborate dioramas.
